Nickeisha is a highly motivated, resourceful and assiduous individual who has a passion for teaching and working with children. She has 18 years teaching experience and has been working in a state-maintained secondary school in England for the past 12 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and two Postgraduate Certificates in Gender and International Development and Research Studies. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in International Development.
She has twelve years of teaching experience in Computer Science, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Business Studies. She also teaches Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4. Nickeisha has been judged as outstanding for the past ten (10) years through both Performance Appraisal and OFSTED observations, maintaining remarkable pass rates among all the courses she has taught at Key Stage 4.
She has held several leadership roles during her teaching career, including Subject Leader, Head of Department and Exam Board assessor. In her roles as Subject Leader and Head of Department, she prepares the Schemes of Work; create relevant policy documents and plans; manages department staff; creates and manages classroom resources and materials; and lead teaching and learning including quality assurance within her department.
In addition to her teaching experience, she has amassed over six (6) years of professional experience working with small- and medium-sized businesses as a consultant with extensive managerial responsibilities including workplace policy and department development. She also has extensive experience in the voluntary sector.
